In 2006, Beatriz Martins was just six years old when she decided to hand out candy to children living in vulnerable situations.
That small gesture carried a big question:
“Why do some people have opportunities and others don't?”

Founder
Founder of Olhar de Bia, Bia Martins turned an act of kindness begun in childhood into a movement that has already reached more than 500 thousand people through education and human development. A social entrepreneur, speaker and reference in youth leadership, she was recognized by Forbes Under 30 and has had her journey featured by national and international initiatives.
A TEDx Speaker, Olympic Torchbearer and Red Bull Basement champion, she believes in the power of human connection to create opportunities and transform realities. Today she is also the founder of Instituto Garra, a social initiative linked to FURIA, one of the largest esports and entertainment organizations in the world.

President and co-founder of Olhar de Bia, Ricardo Martins has dedicated his career to building initiatives that promote education, citizenship and social transformation. With more than 20 years in the nonprofit sector, he leads projects focused on youth development, strengthening families and mobilizing networks of impact across the country.
A speaker, specialist in emotional intelligence and social leader, he believes that great transformations are born from listening, care and valuing people. At the helm of Olhar de Bia, he leads the organization's institutional strategy, strengthening its mission to create opportunities, inspire leadership and help build a more humane and inclusive society.

Young people ages 15 to 21
A human development journey that combines mentorship with industry professionals, social-emotional skills, and ongoing guidance to awaken passions, strengthen agency, and connect young people to academic and professional opportunities.

Intensive audiovisual training that prepares young people for the content production industry, with hands-on practice in storytelling, filming, editing, and digital communication, through a methodology that is accessible and tuned to today's world.
Mental & social-emotional health
A social-emotional development and mental health program that creates safe spaces for listening and support, helping people strengthen emotional skills and build healthier relationships at home and at work.
Solidarity initiative
Mobilizes people, companies, and communities around actions that support families in vulnerable situations, running campaigns and drives that turn empathy into concrete help and real social impact.
Art & culture
Olhar de Bia's art and culture initiative, using theater as a tool for human development, artistic expression, and social transformation.

Explore the programs
In partnership with StartSe, Olhar de Bia gave three students from the Alicerce Program a one-week immersion in Silicon Valley in 2025, with all expenses covered. The experience included visits to some of the world's leading innovation hubs.
Throughout the journey, the students had direct contact with entrepreneurs, experts and environments driving the greatest technological transformations of our time, broadening their vision of the future and strengthening their potential for leadership and innovation.
